The annual Sugar Cane Festival Flower Show hosted by the Azalea Garden Club will be held September 26 through 28, 2019 at the Cyr-Gates Community Center in New Iberia City Park.

The theme for this year’s show is “Music Through the Years (1940’s-1990’s)”. Horticulture exhibits will be accepted on Thursday, September 26 between noon and 6:00 p.m. with a limit of 20 entries per person. No horticulture will be accepted on Friday but replacement is allowed prior to judging on Friday morning. The Flower Show will be open to the public from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019. All exhibits must remain on display until 4:00 p.m. on September 28th and must be removed by 5:00 p.m. The show will also feature educational and design exhibits by garden club members. Another component of the show is the youth flower show. Specimens entered into the youth show must be grown by the youth.
